Crawford Notch Camping 9/30 - 10/2

Posted by mrweber on Sep 18 2022 - 6:31pm
Hello Troop 75,

Our Crawford Notch Camping trip is just 2-weeks out, please RSVP with a yes or no early as the next few weeks will be very busy with pumpkins arrival and camping trip prep.
Here are some details about this camping trip:

We are camping at a privately-owned campsite in Crawford Notch adjacent to the Notchland Inn on Rte 302.  This is a gorgeous location directly on Nancy Brook.   We will do some day hikes on both Saturday and Sunday.  We are planning to go lightweight for the trip and scouts will be cooking on backpacking stoves.

DWC - 12th Point Hike

Posted by Emuller on Sep 17 2022 - 6:42pm

We encourage each of you to participate in this event about the 12th Point of the Scout Law - a scout is reverant.  Cub Scouts, Scouts, and adult Scouters are all invited to participate in this virtual tour of various faith traditions. The goal is to learn about the tenets and practices of faiths that may be different than your own. You may even learn something new about your faith tradition. Through understanding, we build mutual respect, acceptance, and appreciation of one another. There is no charge for this event, save for a nominal fee for those who wish to receive a commemorative patch.

Pumpkin Patch - Fall Fundraiser

Posted by Emuller on Sep 11 2022 - 8:00pm

This October we are once again joining forces with Bow Mills Church to help staff the Pumpkin Patch. We are asking each scout family to volunteer for one pumpkin selling shift.  The troop is responsible for staffing approximately 3 shifts per week.  Each shift should have a minimum of 1 parent and 1 scout.

Troop Legacy Dates

To remind us never to take our troop, the town we live in, or our great adult leadership and committee for granted I think the following dates are important.
